United Way of Jasper County volunteers sold tickets for the 50/50 Raffle at the Nascar K&N Pro Series East/West Race on Sunday, May 23rd at the Iowa Speedway.  59 volunteers including UW board members, community members and representatives from UW community partner agencies sold 9,268 tickets from 8am until 3pm in the strong winds and heat.  The UW portion raised for critical health and human service programs was $2,154 and the lucky individual with the winning ticket took home around $4,500!!  Volunteers received a free LIVE UNITED t-shirt and free admission into the race.  A HUGE thaks to all the volunteers for your support and hard work!!
