Did you know that more than 1 out of every 5 people in the United States has no prescription drug coverage...United Way of Jasper County is dedicated to helping Jasper County residents get the prescription drugs they need.

How can you get a card?
Cards are available at the following locations: United Way office 113 1st Ave West, Newton), Hy-Vee Pharmacy, Walgreens Pharmacy, Weirick & Patterson Pharmacy, Salvation Army, Willowbrook Adult Day Center, RRACAP, DHS, MICA offices in the County Annex Building, Progress Industries, Newton YMCA, Hospice of Jasper County at Skiff, MICA or Peck Child Development Center.  Cards may also be printed by going to www.familywize.com. It is an amazing program and we are very grateful to the pharmacies that participate.

It's Free: This is a free resource from the FamilyWize community service partnership. Use the FamilyWize card to start saving money on your prescription drugs today.

It's Easy: Simply present your card and prescription to a participating pharmacy to obtain the discounted price. You always receive the lower of the discounted price or pharmacy's retail price.

How Much Do You Save: This card can save you and your family an average of 20% on 8 out of 10 prescriptions.

No Restrictions: Use your card as often as you need, for any prescription, for everyone in your family. There is no income limit, age requirement, eligibility or registration required.

$100 Million In Savings: The goal of this community partnership is to reduce the cost of medicine for children, families, and individuals with no prescription drug coverage by $100 million in five years. The cards are being distributed free of charge nationwide by participating United Way agencies and other organizations.

How Does This Work: The discounts and savings are provided voluntarily by the more than 53,000 participating pharmacies that have agreed to accept this card. Please remember to thank them for their participation and the difference they are making for you, your family, and for your community when you fill your prescription.
