Advocating for the Common Good
Successful advocacy can take many forms: exercising your right to vote, volunteering on a political campaign, taking a stand on an important public policy issue, presenting information to elected officials and working with community organizations.
United Way of Jasper County supports advocacy through involvement in state and local legislation. We support local efforts that seek to increase human services funding or improve public policy by giving a voice to underrepresented communities.
