2027-2028 Grant Funding | Letter of Intent
United Way of Jasper County is now accepting Letters of Intent from organizations seeking grant funding for health and human services programming during the 2027–2028 funding cycle (April 1, 2027–March 31, 2028).
Funding is available for programs serving Jasper County residents that align with one or more of United Way’s Community Impact areas:
UWJC uses a program-based funding model, allocating funds to specific programs operated by eligible tax-exempt nonprofit organizations serving Jasper County residents.
Letter of Intent
Organizations interested in applying for funding must first submit a Letter of Intent. The LOIs will be reviewed by the United Way of Jasper County Board of Directors at their regular October meeting. Results of that review will be shared with those applying by Oct. 21.

Completed Letters of Intent must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Late submissions will not be accepted.

Application Materials
Agencies must first complete the Letter of Intent process to be considered eligible to apply for grant funding. Each agency's Letter of Intent will be reviewed for approved by the United Way of Jasper County Board of Directors. Once the Letter of Intent has been approved the agencies will then be contacted and receive application materials. Funding is for one year and each agency must apply annually to receive funding. Agencies which do not currently receive United Way funding are invited to participate in the Letter of Intent process each fall for consideration.
