Letter of Intent

Letter of Intent forms for United Way of Jasper County grant funding for health and human services programming will be available now. The Letters of Intent are for the the 2026-2027 funding cycle (April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027) for programs that fall within the community impact areas of Education & Youth Development, Health & Healthy Community, and Financial Stability. 
 
The United Way seeks to support those programs and agencies which demonstrate consistency with the United Way mission, values, priorities and commitment to addressing identified community needs. United Way of Jasper County operates a program-based fund distribution system and allocates funds to specific programs of tax-exempt, non-profit agencies serving Jasper County residents.

Completed forms are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 8, no late submissions accepted.

Application Materials

Agencies must first complete the Letter of Intent process to be considered eligible to apply for grant funding. Each agency's Letter of Intent will be reviewed for approved by the United Way of Jasper County Board of Directors. Once the Letter of Intent has been approved the agencies will then be contacted and receive application materials. Funding is for one year and each agency must apply annually to receive funding. Agencies which do not currently receive United Way funding are invited to participate in the Letter of Intent process each fall for consideration.
